Descrizione

La dimensione della calotta varia tra 12 mm e 68 mm. La guglia è depressa e mostra strie a spirale. Il suo colore è giallastro o marrone chiaro, con grandi macchie triangolari arrotondate bianche. Il motivo della colorazione è molto simile al Conus marmoreus, ma più chiaro. La conchiglia si distingue subito per la mancanza della corona di tubercoli e per le sue dimensioni solitamente ridotte.

Diffusione

Questa specie si trova nell'Oceano Pacifico al largo delle Marchesi.
